This report provides thorough economics of styrene production via dehydrogenation. Ethylbenzene (recycled and fresh) is made to heat to the required temperature after being mixed with steam in a heat exchanger. The mixture produces hot effluent which significantly helps the preheating of the mixture of ethylbenzene and steam. Then, the condensed reactor is segregated to condensate, vent gas, and crude styrene. Crude styrene is finally refined by distillation train to produce styrene.
