Feedstock dynamics remained the dominant swing factor, as firm primary aluminium values and stubbornly high energy and conversion costs kept a floor under slug pricing even when buyers turned cautious and inventories were managed tightly. The structural pull from lightweight automotive components and recyclable packaging lent underlying support, and although periodic softness emerged whenever construction-linked demand wavered, balanced fundamentals prevented any sustained correction.
