The boiling point of the compound is 132.5 °C at 760 mmHg. It is slightly soluble in water but gets easily dissolved in ethanol and chloroform. The density of the compound is around 0.7655 g/cu cm at 20 °C. It is considered a flammable chemical, and it also reacts with strong oxidizing agents. The flash point of the compound is around 28.9 °C.
