In the Chinese domestic market, the prices went from about 2510 USD/MT (FOB) in January’23 to about 2150 USD/MT (FOB) in June’23, experiencing a depreciation of about 14%.

Europe

The European market also behaved no differently than the Asian market, as the prices declined consistently here too. European DMAPA suppliers are more import-dependent, which was one of the reasons behind falling trend, as cheap Asian imports were available along with lowered demands from the consuming sectors. Prices declined from about 3250 USD/MT in January’23 to about 2500 USD/MT in June’23, with an approximate decline of about 23%.
