Agilyx ASA partners with Circular Resources SARL to launch Plastyx Ltd., aimed at being Europe's primary supplier of high-grade plastic feedstock

Agilyx ASA has unveiled the plan to establish Plastyx Ltd. in partnership with Circular Resources SARL, creating a joint venture structured as a 60:40 ownership split. Plastyx Ltd. aims to position itself as Europe's primary supplier of high-grade feedstock for advanced plastic recycling.

The formation of Plastyx addresses a critical bottleneck in the plastic recycling sector: the limited supply of consistent, high-quality waste plastic suitable for producing food-grade and performance packaging materials. The company plans to develop strategic partnerships and enhance material processing capabilities to secure reliable polymer supplies. Its near-term goal involves securing memorandums of understanding for 200,000 metric tons of plastic waste by the end of 2025.

Plastyx will leverage synergies with Cyclyx's feedstock management expertise through Agilyx's shared ownership. This collaboration is designed to strengthen the venture's position as a pioneer in the European advanced recycling feedstock market. The initiative supports the broader adoption of chemical recycling technologies that complement traditional mechanical methods, contributing to a more sustainable plastics economy.
