Developed by Earthly Labs, an enterprise under Chart Industries, the CiCi Oak technology has proven to be a game-changer for Eddyline. This novel system harnesses the waste CO2 generated during the fermentation phase, purifies it, and repurposes it in various brewery applications – from carbonating the beer to purging tanks and cleaning kegs.

The advantages of this technology become even more evident in the backdrop of New Zealand's recent struggles with CO2 shortages and the associated price volatility. Some breweries, ill-prepared for the sudden dearth of CO2, faced severe financial setbacks, with some even seeing a surge in CO2 prices by an astounding 700%.
