India Glycols has expanded its production capabilities at its grain-based distilleries and bio-fuel ethanol plants located in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, and Kashipur, Uttarakhand. At the Kashipur facility, the company has boosted its distillery capacity by 100 kiloliters per day (KLPD), raising the total to 500 KLPD. Additionally, the bio-fuel ethanol plant in Kashipur has seen a 180 KLPD increase, bringing its overall capacity to 590 KLPD.

The company has also enhanced its capacity for producing new value-added chemical products at the Kashipur site by 2,500 metric tons per year (MT/year), now reaching 7,500 MT/year. In its ongoing efforts, India Glycols is upgrading its Gorakhpur facility, with plans to add 180 KLPD to its grain-based distillery and 90 KLPD to its bio-fuel ethanol capacity. These expansions are scheduled for completion by the fourth quarter of FY25.
