Venture Global LNG to upshoot its LNG production in the USA
Venture Global LNG has made an announcement concerning ramping up of its LNG sites based in the USA to over 100 million tonnes of nameplate liquified export volume annually.
US LNG specialist Venture Global plans to amplify LNG production both within and outside of Louisiana, capitalizing on the success of its initial three projects: Calcasieu Pass, Plaquemines LNG, and CP2 LNG. To facilitate these ambitions, the company has forged an extended master equipment supply agreement with energy technology firm Baker Hughes. This agreement entails the provision of extra liquefaction train systems and power island systems to facilitate the expanded capacity.

Baker Hughes, serving as a key LNG equipment supplier to Venture Global, provided LNG technology solutions for the Calcasieu Pass LNG facilities and will extend similar support to the under-construction Plaquemines LNG facility.
Lorenzo Simonelli, Chairman and CEO of Baker Hughes, underscored the critical role of natural gas in the energy transition and affirmed the firm's commitment to supporting Venture Global's expansion strategy to meet global energy needs.
